Social & Emotional Needs of Highly Able Learners

Dr. Patricia Schuler, National Certified Counselor, presented a G/T Parent Academy, The Social and Emotional Needs of Advanced-Level Learners: Strategies for Parents, on issues related to the education of highly able learners, including perfectionism, twice-exceptional children, and underachieving advanced-level learners. Three hundred parents attended the presentation at Centennial High School; Dr. Schuler provided academy participants with a suggested resource list and information from her PowerPoint presentation.
